Yes! You read it right! We've taken the position

of senior pastor at Christ's Community Church

of the Nazarene, New Albany, Indiana! For a short

while we're still working in world mission for the rest of this month and a few other items until the end of February, and one quick trip to Africa, then no more. Wild huh? Well, God is moving in different ways these days. The mission field is all over the world now!

We arrived on Friday, December 3rd, in Sellersburg and the truck arrived later that day with our furniture. We stayed that night with a wonderful couple who are on the church board. Then on Saturday morning we awoke to a beautiful snow fall! By 7:45 we were at our new home to unload the truck and church people were already there waiting on us. We were amazed to see nearly fifty people show up to unload our furniture and goods...In the Snow! In just two hours the entire truck was empty and people were cleaning and organizing the kitchen, putting beds together, and lots of other things. The snow kept coming and it was so beautiful! It made us feel like Christmas!

This morning (Sunday, December 5) we were installed as the senior pastoral family at Christ's Community Church. The District Superintendent, Dr. Garry Pate, preached a wonderful message about the five things that a pastor must do: Preach the Word; Live the Word; Cast the Vision; Equip the People; and Pray. It was humbling as we read the covenant with the church and agreed together to move forward in the work of the Kingdom.
